I've always wondered how many different ways one can cook sweet potatoes besides making it a porridge or frying and at the same time make it interesting, so i came up with a variation of the famous Gizdodo (Gizzard. Gizzard and Sweet potatoes got married in this video. Their union is already blessed cause we tasted it and it was sweeeet!

Remove gizzards from container and discard chicken hearts if they're present. Cut away excessive fat and gristle, then wash gizzards thoroughly under running cold water. · Chicken Liver and Gizzard Adobo is known locally in the Philippines as Adobong Atay at Balun-balunan.   2. Cut the potato into small or medium cube size,then set aside
  3. Wash your gizzard thoroughly,add onions,curry,thyme,garlic,mixed spices, black pepper maggi and a pinch of salt then set it on fire.
  4. Cut your spinach,wash thoroughly with salt or vinegar in order to remove the dirts that comes with vegetable or sand and then set aside in a colander.
  5. Once the gizzard is down then you bring it down from the fire,separate the gizzard from the stock and set aside.
  6. Blend chilly pepper,belly pepper,onions and garlic together.Then pour the paste into a pot and set it on fire.Allow the water to get drained before adding vegetable to it,then fry thoroughly.
  7. Add few maggi cubes since you have already added maggi to the stock,curry,a little of the mixed spices,a pinch of salt.mix and then add the cooked gizzard, Carrot,sausage then lastly the potato and allow it to cook properly.
  8. Once the potato is halfway done,add your spinach to it and cover it for some time before bring it down.And then serve.

I add the potatoes because I honestly do not enjoy the taste of unripe plantain. I love the texture and flavor contrast the sweet potato adds to the dish. The beauty of this recipe is that you can modify it either way - do a combination like I have, use just plantain or just sweet potatoes.
