- Firstly in a wide pan heat ghee once ghee is hot add flour on low flame till it turns aromatic.
- In another pan melt sugar adding water and boil til 1 string consistency.
- Now add sugar syrup in roasted flour. Stir continuously till the flour gets combined well without any lumps.
- Add cardamom powder and chopped nuts and mix well. Mixture becomes thick and start to leave the sides of pan.
- Cook till mixture is thick. Now mixture into four equal parts..
- In one part add orange food colour, in second part add green colour and third part add chocolate food colour and fourth part remain white.
- Shape into your choice. Finally serve barfi.
