The ingredients needed to make Pasta Bake:
  1. Prepare 5 oz chicken breast
  2. Get 2 cup penne
  3. Take 1 cup marinara
  4. Take 1 cup mozzerella cheese
  5. Get 1/8 cup grated parmesan cheese
  6. Take 1 tbsp basil
  7. Prepare 1 tsp thyme
  8. Take 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions to make Pasta Bake:
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Bring pot of water to rolling boil and frying pan to medium heat.
  2. When water is boiling, add noodles and cook until al dente.
  3. Place chicken breast in pan, cook until internal temperature is 165°F. When chicken is fully cooked, shred and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. When noodles are al dente, drain water. Add marinara sauce to pot, and stir.
  5. In seperate container, combine parmesan cheese, basil, thyme, and garlic powder. Mix together.
  6. Pour noodles into small cooking casserole dish (I used a 5"x9"). Cover with mozzerella cheese, evenly spread chicken, and season dish with parmesan mix.
  7. Cover dish with aluminum foil, and cook in oven for 15-20 minutes.
