- Wash and soak rice.
- Heat oil in a pot. Add cinnamon and kali mirch. Add sliced onion and fry until pink.
- Add ginger garlic paste, and chopped tomatoes. Mix well. Add spices. Fry till masala bhunofy. Add peas and quartered potatoes.
- Add water. Let potatoes and peas become tender.
- When they are tender, add drained rice. Add 2 cup water. Let cook on medium flame.
- When water is dried, keep rice pot on dum. 5 mins high heat then low heat. Cover with lid.
- Serve with raita and salad.
