It can be made with two methods, first, in which the rice is cooked and tossed in tamarind sauce, the other method is to cook raw rice in pulikacha (tamarind sauce). In a pan, pour 2 table spoon of oil, once the oil heats add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, add chenna Dal, red chilli, green chilli, curry leaves, cashew nuts, salute for 2 minutes in low flame, once the peanuts change into brown colour, add tamarind paste and also add 2 table spoon of lemon juice, add salt, keep in low flame and salute for 2 - 3 minutes.
  4. Once the paste ready add the cooked rice into it.
  5. Take the rice into a bowl, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot
