Plantain Porridge recipe: Method: Blend the green plantain with water until it is liquid. Once boil to, add the green plantain liquid. Now put your stove on low. While the plantain porridge is simmering, stir it in until it is creamy.
Steps to make Plantain porridge:
- Blended tomatoes,pepper and onions, ugwu,crayfish,plantain,and dryfish
- Prepare all the ingredients by washing the fish in hot water,slice the vegetable, pound the crayfish and cut the plantain into tiny bits
- To a sauce pot add palm oil into it and heat
- When its hot add the blended tomatoes,pepper and onions.
- Stir fry till all the water is drained
- Add the cray fish bullion cubes and salt
- Add the dry fish and stir up
- Add the plantain cubes and stir it up
- Add water to barely cover the top of the plantain cover and allow to cook
- After about 15-20min check the plantain if its well cooked add the vegetable (ugwu) allow to steamer for 3minutes.
- Turn off the heat.
- Serve hot and enjoy
