  2. Get 80 g cornflakes

  7. Prepare 250 g plain flour
  8. Get Pinch salt
  9. Take 120 g butter
  10. Take 90 ml water
  11. Prepare Or 1 packet shortcrust pastry

Steps to make Cornflake Tart:
  1. Make the pastry but mixing flour and salt, rub the butter until breadcrumb, then add water to form dough. Wrap in cling film and leave in fridge for 30min
  2. Lay the rolled out pastry into a greased dish, crimping the edges and prick the base
  3. Blind bake for 15min at 200oC
  4. Melt butter, sugar and golden syrup in a pan then stir in the cornflakes.
  5. When the pastry is done, spread the jam on it then cover with the cornflake mixture. Cook for another 5mins
  6. Serve with custard
