- When it comes together as a solid mass and leaves the sides of the pan, take it off the heat and pour it into the greased dish. Spread it evenly and top it up with chopped mixed nuts of your choice. Wait until it cools down a bit before refrigerating it. Cover well with a cling wrap or an aluminium foil without fail. Cut into small square and serve chilled.
