- Take a pan and add jaggery, water and green cardamom to it. Mix well and bring to boil.
- Heat another pan and add 1/2 cup ghee to it. Then add semolina to it. Mix well and roast for about 7-8 minutes on medium flame by stirring continuously.
- Then, add besan and 2 tbsp ghee to it and roast them by stirring continuously for 5 minutes on medium to low flame.
- Then, add mixed dry fruits and muskmelon seeds to it. Mix well and roast for few minutes.
- Then, add hot jaggery syrup little by little to the halwa mixture and stir continuously.
- Finally, add saffron mixed in 2 tbsp milk in the halwa and mix well. Cook it for a minute and then cover it with lid for another minute. Serve hot.
