  1. Make ready 4 bunch Spinach
  2. Get 1 cup rahed daal
  3. Take 1/2 cup masur daal
  4. Prepare 1 whole garlic
  5. Take 2 chopped onion
  6. Prepare 3 chopped tomato
  7. Make ready 3 chopped green chilli
  8. Take 2 tbsp oil
  9. Take 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  10. Prepare 1 tbsp salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder
  11. Prepare 2 cups water
Instructions to make Saag Chawal:
  1. Heat cooker with 1 tbsp oil add chopped onion saute it
  2. Soaked both daal in water for 1/2 hrs.Now add soaked both daals
  3. Add chopped spinach tomato green chilli and all masala except red chilli powder and water. Cover with it's lid. Give it 2 whistles and slow the flame for 5 mins. Now off the flame.
  4. Open the lid mix daal and spinach nicely.
  5. For tadka heat tadka pan add rest oil add grated garlic in it saute it add red chilli powder put it in saag. Serve with Rice
