- Heat ghee in a heavy bottom wok, add cumin seeds. Let them crackle. Once done, add turmeric powder and salt. Add water to it and give it a nice boil. Once the water starts boiling, add rice and moong dal. Cook for 5-10mins and then add grounded bajra(pearl millet) to it…
- Cook till bajra and dal rice are soft and mushy. It takes around half hour to cook. Add more water if required.
- Serve hot with a dollop of ghee and hot milk.
