Here I cooked tapioca with water and served with fish curry. I have used sardine (mathi) for making fish curry here.

The ingredients needed to make Tapioca and fish curry:
  1. Prepare 1/2 kg tapioca peeled and chopped medium not very thin or thick
  2. Take 1/2 tsp Salt Or as per your taste
  3. Prepare 1/2 tsp Turmeric

  5. Make ready 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  6. Take Few Curry leaves
  7. Get 6-8 Garlic cloves

  10. Take 1 tsp Oil to crackle mustard seeds
  11. Prepare For fish curry
  12. Prepare 1/2 kg fish clean cut into medium pieces
  13. Make ready to taste Salt
  14. Get 2 tsp fish masala
  15. Get 1 tbsp each Ginger garlic paste
  16. Make ready 3 Tomatoes
  17. Make ready 1 Onion chopped
  18. Take Few Curry leaves
  19. Prepare Few Mustard seeds
  20. Make ready 1 tbsp Oil to sauté onion
  21. Take 1 tbsp Coriander powder

The textures and combined flavors are deeply comforting. The soft but 'al dente' Tapioca preparation, smothered in a coconut gravy and spiced sourness provided by the deep red curry. Heat the oil in the pan, add mustard to sputter, then add nicely chopped small onions and curry leaves. Add this in to the tapioca and mix it well.

Steps to make Tapioca and fish curry:
  1. First boil the tapioca in enough water till tender and transparent
  2. Now drain out the excess water
  3. Make a mixer of coconut,cumin seeds, green chillies, salt, turmeric garlic, curry leaves with little water.
  4. Now add this coconut mixture in the tapioca and mash with wooden round spoon or with masher and mix well
  5. Now make a tadka of mustard seeds,red dry chilli and few curry leaves and pour on mashed tapioca
  6. Serve hot with fish curry and with green chilli crushed curd by adding salt and curry leaves.
  7. For Fish curry
  8. Heat a pan take 1 tbsp oil heat it and add mustard seeds when crackle add curry leaves onion chopped, ginger garlic sauté till transparent
  9. Add tomato purée and sauté for few minutes when the colour will change add fish pieces till both sides are well cooked.
  10. Now add salt turmeric coriander powder 1tbs,and 2 tsp fish masala add 1/1/2 cup of water and boil the fish until tender and gravy thickens.
  11. For curd chutney
  12. Curd 1cup, green chilli 2,curry leaves few, salt all grind in the Mixer and mix for 1/2 minutes till everything crushed finely
  13. Now enjoy this cuisine tapioca,fish curry and curd chutney
